Tiverton Harriers, is one of the oldest running and athletic clubs in the area.

We are here to help you improve your athletic skills, or here for fitness. Although we are an athletic club we mainly focus on running, but if people like to learn other field events, then we would be more than willing to help and point you in the right directions to excel in your sporting performance.

Tiverton Harriers has two groups, Our Senior section, which starts at ages 18 plus and we normally like you to be able to run about 4 miles non-stop, but with our growing number of coaches we might be able to start you off on something shorter, as we accept anyone from any ability.

Also if you fancy being an Athletic Coach, we could see how you perform and then put you in for a coaching course, if you meet the standard which we are looking for. 

Just come down and have a chat with one of Our coaches and we can sort you out a suitable activity for you.

Our training nights are 17:50pm on Tuesdays and Thurdays at Heathcoat Factory, Tiverton and in the summer we have some training evenings at Tiverton High School sports fields, but this will be discussed.

We are also one of the cheapest clubs as our membership is only £17.50 for the year, which covers insurance and club membership!

Our Junior Section, is from 8 years of age, again all abilities welcome. The Junior team is full of many good athletes, who have potential and could go further, this club helps the Juniors become more sporting minded. 

The Junior Club nights are from:-

1st September, the Juniors will meet at Knightshayes carpark from 6-7pm, for Cross Country training.

6th October, we will be on the Astro-turf at the Leisure Centre from 5-6pm, for the winter.

Summer times are being arranged.

Cost for Juniors:-

The 1st week is free after that £1 per training night per child, and a £7.50 per annual membership fee to join Tiverton Harriers.

All club members can also buy jackets, vest and t-shirts from the club.

All Our training sessions are coached with a number of profesional coaches from level 1 upwards.
