The Senior section

The Seniors are from 18 plus and should be able to run more than 4 miles. In the Winter me meet on a Tuesday and Thursday night at 5:50pm at Heathcoat Factory Westexe, Tiverton in the summer we meet at Heathcoat Factory on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Tiverton High School on there field track, you can see this on finding places section on the website. It's one of the cheapest memberships in the area at only £17:50 a year. We do many actives within the club as you will see listed below.

 

• A timed race we call the Handicap, that is around the flattest route in Tiverton and its timed the slowest go off 1st and fastest last, this is good for speed to see if your improving or slowing down, but also gives you chance to run with other ability runners as you see them around the route. We will also put the results on the website so you can improve on them and know what they are.
•  Club Championship will be based on selected races by the club around this area times taken from each Tiverton Harrier member doing the race uploaded on the website giving you something to improve on as well.
•  Also we do a thing called chocolate bar relay you get put in to teams and each of you gets given a different chocolate bar and given a route and at the middle of the route you change chocolate bar like in a relay and run back, the winning team get a prize of some sort.

All these challenges are there for you to mix with the club but at the sametime getting the most out of your running.
